Most memorable shows from 2017
2017 has almost come to an end. It has been a very busy year of shows for me and I feel very grateful for each and every event that I was invited to perform at. From all the shows I performed at this year, here are 3 of them that stand out in my memory.
The first photo is from earlier this month at the Avgorou village.
The event was organised with the aim to raise funds for families in need. There was a very positive atmosphere all throughout the event and I especially enjoyed presenting my show to everyone who was there. My congratulations go to the Avgorou Community Board for the very well-organised event and particularly when it was for such a great cause! 👏👏
The second photo was taken on June the 1st at the Agia Napa Elementary School.
In celebration of the International Children’s Day, all the 300 students of the school were treated to a magic show, free ice cream as well as no homework for that day whatsoever!
I remember when I used to be in school - nobody even knew there was such a thing as an international children's day... 😉
The last photo was taken some time in late summer.
Under normal circumstances I would not have accepted this booking. The reason being that I usually require an audience of at least 15 children to be able to fully present my program. In this particular case, however, I had an audience of only 1 child and her 2 parents.
The way this came to be is that Mary’s parents wanted to make a surprise for her 7th birthday while they were still on holidays in Cyprus. Since all of Mary’s friends were abroad, it would have been a little unfair of me to reject the booking because of a small audience.
I’m very glad that I made an exception just this once as Mary was a very smart and enthusiastic helper who as assisted me superbly with every magic trick I presented. She was a true star! 🌟
Other than that, there is still a little bit of 2017 left and perhaps the best is yet to come!
